Stine Sofies Stiftelse
Stine Sofies foundation was created in response to the tragic events of 2000, when friends. Stine Sofie (8) and Lena (10) were sexually abused and killed. What followed was a commitment to ensure that no child’s suffering would go unseen. Since then, the Stine Sofie Foundation has become a strong and unwavering voice for children affected by violence and abuse- working to strengthen their legal protection and to make sure their stories are heard.
Through the Stine Sofie Center, children and families receive care, learning, and support. The foundation welcomes families into a safe and calm environment, offering space to breathe, recover, and find small moments of relief in everyday life after trauma.
The children are given space to play, express themselves, and feel understood – always with the foundation on their side.
