CASHMERE

Example: Cat cashmere cardigan, 100% cashmere

Cashmere care:

  • Machine wash on wool program at Max. 30° degrees – gentle cycle or hand wash
  • No tumble dry – dry flat
  • Wool detergent
  • Wash only when necessary
  • Iron at low temperature – on reverse

To properly care for your Cashmere garment, we recommend machine washing it on wool program, with a gentle cycle with a maximum temperature of 30°C. Wash on reverse or in a washing bag. Use wool detergent. You can also hand wash, but don’t pull or wring the garment. Avoid using softener or bleach. After washing, lay the garment flat to dry in its natural shape. Cashmere garments typically do not require ironing, but if necessary, turn your garment inside out and iron at low temperature; you can also place a piece of fabric between the iron and the garment for added protection. It is also possible to use a steamer. Cashmere will naturally pill, and you can remove pilling by hand or gently with a wool comb.

To avoid washing the garment unnecessarily we recommend to spot clean as much as possible, and you can easily refresh your garment by airing it out or insert it in a freezer for 48 hours. This is both better for the environment and is very efficient to remove unwanted odor.
